I am looking at either another 7970 for 360 or selling my current 7970 and getting a GTX690. Specifically with the June 12.6 variant drivers.

I have also heard that microstutter is much worse using eyefinity but not so much on single panels. Any comments?
 
I can say that with the 12.6's, most, if not all of my issues with 7970 CFx are now gone.
I had actually bought a GTX 670 (and ordered a 680) cause I was in the process of dumping my 7970's, and then AMD released the 12.6 Betas. Now, I'd say my mind is changed and I'm just going to keep my 7970's as they are performing very well.
 
I used 7970 crossfire since close to release in January with no major issues. I'm not using it any longer, but while I did -- worked fine here with 12.3WHQL. Initially, eyefinity had some issues with tearing but I think those have been rectified with 12.6, although I have never used eyefinity.

Crossfire 7970s on a single screen is solid, in my experience.
 
People that have issues with "smoothness" when using AMD cards may want to try an FPS limiter like the one MSI's Afterburner has. Heck, that even made my single 7950 run Skyrim better. It got rid of occasional "skipping". I've not tried limiting FPS with AMD MGPU.

I'm very sensitive to pauses or skipping when moving about in a game. It doesn't bother some people.

After purchasing another 7970 I can say without a doubt I can play BF3 maxed out at 1600p well well over 60fps so I'm happy, no microstutter that I am aware of in BF3 but it is definitely there in Skyrim but it is solved with a frame limiter.

I'm going to have to purchase MP3, Crysis, and maybe a few more games that can stress the setup, Anyone know the default run settings for Unigine?
