sure mine gets like 95 sometimes before i did the bios mod.

You'll probably get told off for using caps in your title.
95C is too high imho, you may need better case cooling and/or better GPU cooling.
You may get a temp drop by renewing the heatsink paste on the GPU.

Supposedly it is rated to 104C. I personally wouldn’t want it to get it anywhere near there.
 
o sry bout the caps. anyways my fans running 100% im absolutely sure of it and it still reaches 90 when playing Crysis and Crysis warhead or Wars. so is that just normal errR?? should i do sumin about it?
 
are you really sure the fan is running 100%? what are you using to monitor/ control fan speeds?

my fan only runs at 60% and i never go over 85

Even with your fan set at 100%? That is getting pretty toasty. Even when it's warm in my room 100% usually keeps my cards below 70C in a game.

Have you dusted it out lately?
 
i have a PSU that has 85% effciency and has 450 watts of power so my power is fine but yeah im sure its 100% cus i did the XML file thingy but if its ok i should be fine right?? o and my PSu is an antec true power trio that has 3 12 V. rails so yeah
 
you still didnt tell us how you are monitoring your fan...get rivatuner 2.11 or something and post a screen shot....dont konw about the 4850s but the 4870s 100% fan speed is like a blowdryer in your tower
 
You don't need any monitoring software to tell if the fan is running at 100%. You'll hear it :)

If the fan is running at 100%, temps should be nowhere near 90.

If the fan is running at the default Auto mode, it will allow the temp to reach 85C to 90C, depending on the game and GPU load. In some cases, like Furmark, it can go as high as 96C.
