How hot does your Macbook run?

SMC fan says I'm usually around 47-49c Seems kinda hot this is for a 2Ghz chip. What are you guys at? I figured this thing would run cooler the bottom anyways I guess not.
 
that's about right for a single fan, 2ghz, thin laptop chassis with poorly applied thermal paste.
 
My old 1.25ghz powerbook g4 often burns my crotch-region; at approximately Fahrenheit 120 for the case exterior.
 
i run a second display at all times with my macbook in an un-airconditioned room.....hovers around 57 - 65 C. Kinda hot, but whatever.....if it melts I have applecare.
