I will have the option to try a few 3.2 Ghz Northwoods in my comp. The guy who has them will give me the one that overclocks the best, and trade in my current 3.0 C.

So what will be the maximum stable speed of the best of those 3.2Cs? I think I'll have three CPUs to try, and I won't use anything but good air cooling.

Tedinde, if you are reading this, what's the max. air-cooled stable speed of your 3.2C that you run at 4.2 Ghz with vapo cooling?

it ran 4Ghz on air. I think he's said in the past. It doesnt really matter what other people's are doing... you have your choice of 3 so try them out and see what you get.

I'm waiting to hear some results on the 3.4C's to see if these are super cherry picked CPU's that may almost all do 4Ghz on (good) air cooling.

i have one running at 3.7ghz 231 fsb at 1.575 iam playing with, tedinde is gonna let me try one of his in his vapo as well as this one when i buy it from him on sunday

1.65Vcore. The heatsink is cool to the touch after hours of gaming.
