How good is a quadro 6000

A Quadro 6000 is out-classed by all of the cards you mention for gaming purposes. With that said, what is the purpose of said card?

Google is your friend. Sorry to sound like a jerk, but it's true.

Here's the specs of the Quadro 6000 http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-quadro-6000-us.html

Here's the specs of the RX 470 http://www.amd.com/en-us/products/graphics/radeon-rx-series/radeon-rx-470

From a pure computing perspective the RX 470 is approximately 4x as powerful as the Quadro 6000 but the TFLOPS don't tell the whole story (FLOP for FLOP, nVidia cards tend to perform better). I would hazard to guess the RX 470 is at least twice, if not 2.5x faster than the Quadro 6000.

Thanks dude. I will get the rx470 or wait for the rx570.

71$ is not that great of price when you think about it.

The Quadro 6000 is based on the same chip as the Geforce GTX 480 card, only with some of the CUDA cores disabled (448 vs 480 in the Geforce) and a lower core & memory clock to boot. The Geforce GTX 480 is itself vastly slower than the Radeon RX 470; for example, according http://hwbench.com/vgas/radeon-rx-470-vs-geforce-gtx-480 , the Rx 470 is 3 times faster in 3dmark 11. If you do need a super cheap video card, a brand new Radeon RX 460 starts at $70 after MIR at Newegg. Though stepping up to a Radeon RX 470 would make every game better.
