How feed 8 disks sata

Hello everyone,

I don't know if this better place to put my question, but if I am on the wrong place please guide me, thanks.

I need to feed eight 2.5" disk sata. I am think use for this a normal atx power supply. I wouldn't use the cable to feed the motherboard but the another cables, I will use to feed the disks.
But, my experience to this it's zero. I need to know if this possible and advisable.

Your English are a bit confusing:
You want to use 2 PSUs, 1 for the motherboard/CPU/GPU & 1 for the HardDisks?

I think the OP is talking about how to power 8 x 2.5 inch drives. I think the problem is the power supply does not have enough power connectors so the OP would have to use splitters.
