I need a card that can do some moderate gaming and video capturing for my secondary system:

XP 2400+
Asus Nforce 2 Ultra 400
512 meg DDR2100

I do not want to put a $400 card into that box since my main system already has a 9800 Pro for gaming purposes.

I can get this card which so far after some research is the front runner:

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=14-170-048&depa=0

I am also looking at an ASUS 9600 XT with VIVO also.

Any other recommendations? Like I said it will be 50% gaming and 50% video capturing/editing.

Any help would be nice...

that looks, good although i would go for some pc 3200 ram, and maybe a xp mobile proc for better ocing, that vid card looks fine although u may want to se version as nvidia took ati's thingys like

ati language
SE(sped edition)
XT(good edition)

nvidia language
Ultra(very good edition)
SE(good edition)
XT(crappy edition )

Its all a plot to confuse us radeon lovers.

Just wondering, why that card when the 9800 pro is 13 bucks more? Not bashing you, just wondering since you obviously have your reasons for it.

The 9800 Pro does not have the abiltiy to capture video which is a MUST as I typed in my initial post.

Otherwise the 9800 Pro is a no brainer.
