i have an a8nsli (yup you can see the shit hit the fan here, lol)

it requiers 18 a on 12 v does this mean i should buy an single rail with about 28 a on a single rail, or would a duel rail with 18 on each work too?

i have an enermax one a 600w thing, with 18 on each

i have a 6800gt a leadtek one
a8n sli mobo
3500 winchester
corsair xlpro 3200 ram (gig-o-ram™)
4 sata hard drives - seagate ncq ones 2x80 / 2x 160
dvd
dvdrw
floppy
audigy 1 with front bay
an internal usb hub
and about 10 internal 80 mm fans (until i get water cooling - huzaah!)
i'm not currentl overclocking - which comes to my second question, what effect will this have on a 600 w power supply? - will it drain it?
lets say i got the 2.2 ghz 3500 to 2.75ish

3rd question:

this enermax sli powepack that just came out, anyone know wether its the same thing or will it have triple rails? or could i just make an adaptor?
because it seems to have the same specifications

see here:

The Enermax 600W you have will do fine. You will only have 1 six pin video card connector, but you can use a Molex to 6pin adapter for the 2nd card.

Dual 12v rails is part of the ATX 2.0 spec and is designed to better power modern CPU's, mother boards and video cards. You have well more than you need.

This thread might help a bit: http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=858338

Basically instead of one big 12v rail powering everything, one 12v rail gets dedicated to the CPU/Mobo via the main and aux connectors, and the other is dedicated to stuff connected to the other wires, HDD, CD/DVD, non-mobo graphics card plugs.

That PSU has 36a between the two rails and is more than capable.

18A @ 12V is 216 watts. Assuming your VRM is 95% efficient (typical number) then this means that your CPU would have to draw 205W.

Unless you're doing some sort of badass vapor phase system, you're safe.
