as title says, how does the 6150 compare with other graphics cards? more specifically a geforce fx5600 (not ultra)? is it better?

Simple answer, no. But it works great for old games..pretty flawlessly. It even runs Quake 4 flawlessly....at 640X400 though :p

I have the Asus A8n vm csm 6150/430

I'm quite satisfied with it except for the fact that it cant overclock very high.

It won't be anywhere near as good as the 5600 - it's probably not much better gaming-wise than a 5200 series, but does have better tv-out capabilities (purevideo.)

I hate to link to toms, but their VGA charts might be useful - the 6150 performs a little worse than the 6200.

Any 6000 series geforce will pound an FX series piece of shit gpu, the 6150 does better than a 5900...much less a 52 or 5600

err... in the link you gave, the 6200 is better than a 5900. and im pretty sure 5900 > 5600 :p

Ever look at reviews of a 6100. Its no better then a geforce 6600 clames on reviews by biostar. They are right. I can run Doom 3 on high but with low res. Doesn't bother me. I can play the best games on freakin onboard video. Ha! You'll need a 6800 or a 7800 to make a big diff in this onboard video. There is very little diff between the 6100 and the 6150. They are very good. Clock speeds run from 425 to 475mhz. A 6200 isn't even as good. Besides haveing 4 pipelines and support for 256mb's memory. The 6100 and 6150 gpu is better. Look it up yourself. Its quite good.
