I got confused maybe because i'm reeally dum,....

You can only use it within 3 months? Thats stupid who upgrades their video card in 3 months...or am I mistaken? How much do you end up having to pay and how much of a better card do you get?

Say I bought a 7600GT right now, would I be able to trade that in for what?...in what amount of time?

Thanks!

I upgraded from a 7900GTX to a 7950GX2.

You just gotta pay for shippin both ways, the price difference, and be w/o your card for a week or so.

You buy a card now, you register it on EVGA's site, and within 90 days you can trade it in and get 100% of your purchase price to spend on any more expensive EVGA product.

and you pay higher than retail for your step-up. Evga's prices are higher than MSRP

I'm not really sure why you think it's stupid. You get the full purchase price of your video applied towards the purchase of a newer card. Yes, you have to pay retail, but what if a new EVGA card comes out a month or 2 from now, say a 8600gt, and it's $200-250? You can trade in your 7600gt for a 8600gt and get a better card and not have to try and sell your old card or be upset you didn't wait.

It's a good deal.

I used it to upgrade my 7900GTO to a 8800GTX.
