How does the 2005fpw scale with lower resolutions?

Hey guys! I want a 2005fpw but i have a question first, how is it at non-native resolutions (as in 1440*900 / 1280*800)? I need to know as im getting rid of my desktop and my laptop will be only machine, and it wont be able to power at that res in very many new games.

I know non-native is NEVER a good idea, however im wondering if the 2005 handles it admirably. I also wouldnt possibly mind hooking up a Xbox360 to it if it comes to that.

I ran one off of a Mobility Radeon at something lower like 1024x768 and it was decent.
