How does SATA plug in on this board? ... stupid question

this is a stupid question, I realise, but how does SATA actualy plug into the DFI nF4 Infinity ? ... it says "Supports four Serial ATA ports" ... that mean theres somewhere on the mobo I can plug a SATA HD into or do I need to get some kind of card for a PCI slot into which I can plug my HD into ?

There are four small black rectangular ports below the fan that says DFI. Those are the SATA ports.
