The leaflet says just disable antivirus software before upgrading ..

I do not want to uninstall MSE.(as i see some not being able to install it in win7) ...just disable it..but i see no toggle.

can i just ignore it all, and go ahead an upgrade to win7 with MSE still active?

MSE>Settings>Real-time protection, and just uncheck the appropriate boxes.

I think that's what you want.

Um, MSE installs perfectly fine in 7. Anyone who says differently is suffering from the ID10T error, period. Do you really think MS's brand new AV and their brand new OS wouldn't work together? Sometimes you need to not take other peoples "word for it" with simple things like that.

well i am running windows 7 now. It seems same as vista 64 and is actually running WoW slower than vista :( I'm not seeing anything exciting so far.

Seems to me...those saying vista sucks are stuck back in it's first year.

total install (upgrade) time was 2.5 hours..including ati cat update and creative x-fi update.
