Yesterday, in preperation for Team Fortress 2 action I decided to update my 8800GTS 320 to the latest forceware beta drivers for Vista.
During the install, my screen went black, as normal, but did not recover, the screen stayed blank. I left it alone for 10 minutes while the HDD kept chugging. I finally decided to shut down and reboot.
My E6400 previously clocked at 3.0Ghz had reverted back to factory defaults of 2.13Ghz and now, for whatever reason, my system seems to refuse to overclock or get much past the POST Screen. This is on a rev 1 Gigabyte 965pDS3 mobo with 2GB of Corsair 800 RAM.
Anyone ever see anything like this happen before? Im totally fricken baffled here.
