how do you hookup WD SecureConnect Cables?

I'm a little confused. Does the "SecureConnect" cable have power running through it OR do I have to plug in a standard molex plug into it too?

I'm pretty sure the sata cable can't power the drive, and the WDsecure connect cables I got certainly didn't allow for the Sata power connectors to be used, so as far as I could see you'd have to use a regular molex.

This angered me slightly.
 
Martin is correct

When using a SecureConnect cable you have to power the drive through the molex connection
