This question has been nagging me since i have been pricing/thinking about a WC system.

I have read you should emtpy out and refill every 6 months

So, once the system is complete.. do you emtpy it, clean it, or maybe want to swap out parts or add parts? How do you get the water out of the system without getting it everywhere?

Any insight to this, would be great!

Thanks,

Chris

Filling an bleeding. Some resevoirs have bleeding holes..Swiftech seels a filling/bleeding kit. The DangerDen/PolarFLO Filliports will do that too.

does zalman reservator has bleeding hole? But that's a good question, how do you empty the sys. while there is water in the GPU and CPU?

With my system, all I need to do is tip the rez and drain. I made it that way because I change out parts so often.

Check out my thread. I open and valve and the whole thing drains (with a little tipping to empty the radiator).

thanks again Bio. I can be thick headed sometimes.

I am going to be using this Res.

i realize know i can just do what you did, put a little extra hose on the 2nd discharge hole, cap it, and use it as my bleeding/emptier!

thanks again!
