ok i just bought an an50r shuttle mobo with my new rig and a serial ata western digital 74g 10,000 rpm hd. The bios keeps wanting to make a raid config. How the hell do u turn it off so that when it boots, the hd is the PRIMARY MASTER hd and now the PRIMARY SLAVE.

Look through BIOS, I have a P4P800 Mobo and theres a whole section regarding RAID. In there you can turn it off so it wont surch for raid devices and speed up boot time :cool:
