How do Scythe fans compare?

I was going to re-use some Papst 4412 F/2Gll that I had powering a 360 sized BI radiator, but the mods for one mod aren't working out for the new mod. :(

The Papst fans were going to cost about $38 a piece + shipping from god knows where so I cruised over to the Petra's Tech Shop. Called them up and chatted a while with them explaining my specific needs for low speed and low noise with decent airflow. Ended up getting a set of Scythe SFF21E which is just a tad noiser than the Papst, but only about $14 a piece. :D Sorry, but I wiped them out of stock. ;)

So did I make a good choice and what are your experiences with these fans?

S-Flexes are a great choice. I'm running 2 of these on my triple rad [usually slowed down to 750 rpm tho'] and they keep my 2 block loop cool enough while producing close to no noise. :)

Also, after some months they're as quiet as they were when I first got them.

That's exactly what I wanted to hear from someone who has these fans. Thank you and here's an E-Cookie. :)

I prefer the Pabst fans but my second choice is the S-Flex "G" model.

I checked Allied Electronics and they don't even stock the low speed ones I was using. :(

E = Airflow: 49.0 CFM + Noise: 20.1 dBA

G = Airflow: 75.0 CFM + Noise: 34.0 dBA

I guess the question is how the G's sound at 25% speed and will they run good at low RPM?

Just buy these...http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/scsf75cfms12.html

These are much better than the Acoustifans and very close to the Pabst's for a little less $$.
