How do I use VIVO?

Hey guys I have a Gigabyte X800XT ViVo 256Mb videocard. I'm brand new to ViVo and I was just wondering how I hook my PS2 up to my computer moniter ( NEC FE991Sb ) ---thats what vivo does right?

yup, you can play ps2 on your monitor, you have to get some video capture software, i use fx video capture and it works good on my 6600gt.

once you have that installed just start it up and plug the ps2 into your video input on your video card and you are good to go

if your using the the three diff colored plugs, it should go right to your speaker output jack on the back of your computer.....

you will need to get an rca to 1.8 mini adapter. they are like $5 at radio shack, and the basically convert the rca plug on your playstation 2 into a normal headphone jack that you can plug directly into the sound input on your motherboard/sound card (its usually the red connector)

edit: It doesn't work. I have my PS2 hooked up using the RGB cables the card came with, but none of them output video....I know the yellow plug on my PS2 is for video and the other two are for sound, but the manual doesn't say which is which for this card. I tried all three but I still dont get video..

The RGB cable I believe is for HDTV output. The cable I'm using for it has an S-video plug on one end with four cables coming out with two yellow RCA plugs and two S-video plugs.

I'm using DScaler to view the input.

For the audio, like compslcker said, get a stereo RCA to mini plug cable and plug it into the line-in jack on your sound card. You'll aslo need to make sure that you haven't muted the line-in in your windows mixer.

I've been looking for a proggy for my VIVO card since I got my computer (the retail CD for the VIVO program that came with card had a CD key that didn't work)...
At last... PS2 on my PC!

Got it working...but the screen size is so small...is there anyway to make it full screen?

Plug the 4-1 cable into your video card. Plug your PS2 into the jack that has the arrow pointing towards your video card.

Turn on your video capture software. Make sure you have 'ATI Rage theater' selected as the source for your vid capture software.

Turn on your PS2.

You'll have to play with your specific software and set the resolution that you like. I also think alt-enter will work to make it full screen. At least that works with DScaler.
