i've been looking around the 'net for a couple of days, searched M$s site, dug around inside active directory and group policy editor and i cannot find this.

does anyone know how to remove the "set as background image" from internet explorer? what im talking about is, you can right-click on an image and you have the option of making that picture the desktop wallpaper.

ive been able to make it so users cannot change the wallpaper any other way. this is the only hole (so far :D)

well the option will not go away, however it will grey itself out if you set the following condition under group/active policy:

user config->admin templates->control panel->display->disable changing wallpaper

^ thank you sir.

i knew that setting, however, i didn't think it would disable the option from IE. i will find out in 24 hours if it works.
