Well i ordered all my parts and they arrived, now i just need to know how to build it. I have one site (link), but i think it would be better to have more then one reference.
Any good sites out there?

It is an AM2 setup, k9n platinum motherboard, 3500 processor, and 7600gs (pci-e) graphics card. I would assume that any amd 939 or am2 guide would work though, right?

Yes, it would.

Put everything in/on your motherboard right now, I learned this the hard way.

You want to assemble everything on the motherboard while the mobo is on a hard surface and in this order: CPU, Memory, CPU Heatsink. Then put it in the case, once in lay the case on a flat surface and put the 7600GS in (top slot), and make sure your PSU is in before anything is done.

The reason I give you that order is becuase when I tried to put a heatsink on a friend of mine's mobo it had the standoffs while in the case and the mobo was cracked in the process.

BTW, that's a good system man, hopefully you'll get everything up and running.

What games do you play (if any)?

Should i put the powersupply in before the motherboard, or after?
I play a bit of CS:S, and i think im going to get battlefield 2.

Yes, PSU before anything.

Thats great man, BF2's gonna be great on that system, you should DEFINATLEY get it, the 7600GS overclocks like mad.

Do you have 2GB of memory?

No, only 1gb, but i might get another.
Thanks for your help.

If anyone else has any recommendations on how to put it together feel free to post. :)

Just and FYI. You don't have to force the processor into the slot. There is a lever on the side the you open up and the processor just drops in. Then you clip the lever back done to lock it in. If you force it you will break pins. There are also manuals that normally come with the motherboard that walk you through the whole install process.

When in doubt, RTFM - helps with alot of issues that could arise during a build for a n00b. Any article (for any system) would work - they're all pretty much the same..Like I said just RTFM and take it *slow* especially since it's your first build and you should be just fine. And after this, you should be able to just do a build (or teardown/rebuild) without the aid of a manual/guide (for the most part at least) - it's really not near as hard as the lay person likes to think it is. About the only issue I've had in any build since my first is those damned wiring blocks for the switches and stuff - alot of makers still don't mark the boards well enough, or provide clear enough descriptions/illustrations in their manuals.
