i am quite new to the overclocking , i wondered if any one can help me with my AMD X2 6000+ (3GHZ duel core) i want to overclock it but i have no idear how to do it please help ,

i have just lowered my memory latcency to 5-5-5-15, so i have some idear about bios.
any help would be greatly apreacted.

well i have the same CPU and can easily run at 3.4 but i think thats all i can get out of it. Basically up your FSB speed up by no more than 5mhz each time. then run prime 95 for at least 10 min to make sure it is still stable then go back and do it again. After you increase the FSB enough it will probably not boot up - that because of the core voltage. up the voltage several increments (i had about 20 increments on my mobo) every other time you increase the fsb. You will not want to go past 1.58 volts for that processor. also check your CPU temp very often to make sure it doesnt overheat. also, it may be best to underclock your ram and set it to like 533 mhz to keep the ram safe (can change this later if you like but the ram increase in mhz as CPU fsb increase. Let me know how it goes.
