How do i overclock a COMPAQ Deskpro EN

as the title suggests i really want to overclock my new com which runs a
P4 2.4ghz cpu
256 ram(at the moment)
DVD-drive
geforce 4 Ti4200 128mb vid card

ive tryed CPUFSB and softFSB but none of them support my compaq MB
in the bios i cant find any advanced features as it does'nt seem have any. my only real previous experiance other than doin my mums com but that was only a little tweak really. so if any one has any idea what to do next post a thread please
also whats a site that i can get rivatuner from coz powerstrip makes my card show arterfacts as soon as i install it

You can't.

People like Compaq, Dell, Gateway and such like them disable overclocking options in BIOS for numerious reasons. 1.) So people don't accidentally OC their computers, and have their Tech Support pulling out their hair over it, and 2.) Because they wan't your machine to become outdated at some time, and you have to purchase a new one, hopefully from them.

Step 1: Get a clock.
Step 2: Put computer on top of the clock.

That's about all the "overclocking" you can do with what you've got.

Pretty much. Though 'outdated' is a pretty relative term, because everyone's needs are different.

The big OEMs don't want people with stupid user syndrome to mess around with advanced BIOS options like memory timings, voltages, FSB options, and then complaining to their tech dept about wanting a new computer cause they idiotically killed theirs.

You can do it with software, but I don't recommend it.

Look at my sig. Check out that bottom system. THAT is the only way to OC a compaq.

well, you can the look for the CoolFSB or whatever it's called... you'll have to check yout motherboard's pll chips and see if they're supported.... don't count on it though.
