How do I mount my water pump?

I have a DD-CPX-Pro 12V Pump, and I'm not sure how to mount it. I'm looking for a minimalistic look, so the less hardware the better. I'm pretty new to WC, so are there any brackets available or something where I can mount it on the bottom near the power supply or on top of the hdd drive cage? I have a fractal arc midi. A picture is below, the angle isn't the greatest, but that's the only picture I have at the moment lol. Thanks for your input guys!

I just set mine on some foam on a convenient surface...like that drive tray behind the upper fan

its not like it really has to be fastened down

I understand, but I'm pretty OCD about how clean I can make it look haha. I spent 12 hours sleeving the cables, and I'd like to keep everything nice and tidy lol.

well, your tubing is kind of going to dictate what you can get away with

it does look very nice

I can't see your picture, as imageshack is blocked at work, but I'd suggest looking at UN designs pump brackets. They've got a number of products that will give you lots of mounting choices.

I looked at those, but I'm not really sure how that would fit on the DD-CPX.

mmm...that's gonna be real hard...

because I was gonna say if you had a tube res that clips on top of the pump(I can't remember which make it was) you could make it a feature...cause if you can't hide it make it a feature.. :D

you could probably do one of two things...put it at the bottom and get a bit of black metal fabricated to cover the bottom/pump from the hd cage to the PSU...kinda like the HAF X...
or put it under the drive bay or sell the res and pump and get a drivebay res/pump combo...like xspc 750 or swap res for a tube one and make it a feature...

apart from those options there's nothing else you can do..

I think that this EK-DCP mount is the same one that is needed for the Danger Den pump you have. Not exactly sure, might want to check that out and see if it works for you.

Are you doing a cpu only loop? If not, are you doing the cpu and a single gpu like the 680 you have listed? If you are going to do both the cpu+gou, but don't have the money for a gpu block and plan to add it later, my advice would be to save up and do it all at once. Having to break a loop down to add a component you planned on in the first place is a real PITA..

Personally I would recommend mounting the reservoir in the bottom 5.25" drive bay, and mount the pump on the top of the 3.5" drive bays and connect them with a shallow arc..From there you can then feed the cpu etc.. We need some more information to help you the most..

Honestly I would sell your pump/res and get a singlebay MCP35x pump/res combo. As for mounts it should have came with one and EK are the only company that makes the mounts anymore i think since DD went out. You can always make a custom mount with acrylic for around 10-20 bucks.

normally the pump comes with a pad that is sticky on both sides that will keep the pump in place. From the angle of the picture there doesn't seem to be an ideal location since you really don't want a leak near your power supply.
