How do I get access to more resolution options?

I want to run my widescreen monitor at 1600 x 1000, but the Radeon drivers dont give me access to this in Display Properties. I was able to do it with my nvidia card, and would like to use that res again.

I have tried Powerstrip and still no access. RageTweak does not support latest Catalyst drivers it seems.

What can I do?

The omega drivers unlock additional resolutions. Not sure if that one is in there or not. Check it out and see.

you mean 1680x1050?

there is a dropdown box in ati drivers (catalyst)to force a resolution ,

there are many resolutions there that do not show up as normal resolutions ,

i know this because there was no 1680x1050 when i hooked up my widscreen ,

i had to go there and force it to use the resolution
