How Do I fix this?

This drive was part of a Raid-1 Software raid. Both drives were 1TB.

After a virus I restored from WHS. I was able to get all my databack but the hard drive is showing the wrong size.

I separated the raid, but that did not fix the problem....

Also I would like to re-mirror the drive but the option is grayed out.

It looks like you have a backup in place and successfully performed a bare metal restore from WHS correct? As long as it's not in a read only state, you should be able delete the volume "Disk 1" right click on the disk you'd like the to mirror and select add mirror.

I restored the storage drive only (I guess that is bare metal?)

So there is 2 problems here.

1) The dI drive on the bottom of the screen says it is 931.51 GB but up at the top it shows the capacity as 730.73. So basically the drive says it is full when it is not because windows thinks the capacity is 730.73 (or rather it seems to be confused since its telling me 2 different things). The drive will only let me store 730.73 though, and that's what it says if I view the drive properties.

2) Second problem is there is no option to create a mirror of this drive, they are grayed out.

I think I misread your post yesterday. Yes I could delete disk1 and re-format to the proper partition size. However that is the drive that has all my data on it. Sure it's backed up on HWS but I think that will just cause the same problem again. I can copy all the data to the other 1GB drive that was part of the mirror but that will screw with time stamps and who knows what else if I do a regular copy...

If your just trying to recover the corrupt/damaged partition table. You could try something like test disk and see if recovery is possible. I've used it a few times in the past and it works pretty well. If the Data are intact and accessible on the volume you recovered why not just copy it directly to the proposed mirror (disk 3) once completed delete the volume (disk 1) and create the mirror.

Yea that was my original plan, but after copying data I ran beyond compare and realized not everything actually copied over. Once I satisfied beyond compare I'm pretty sure all the data is there, however all the time stamps on every folder is of course changed. File time-stamps still seem to be ok, which is somewhat important since a lot of the data is photos.

I'm not sure the partition is corrupted or damaged, but it's definitely a result of the WHS backup. Perhaps WHS can't properly backup to mirrored disks. Not sure why it shrunk my partition, but maybe, just maybe, if that is in fact what happened and due to the fact that the disks are "dynamic" for the mirror, I is simply not allowing me to increase the size of the partition.

If that's the best solution than so be it, at least I did not lose all my data...
