I have a Radeon 9800XT (Retail) in a Shuttle system. The damned thing overheats crazy on the memory in Doom3 white and red dots everywhere. Is there a cooling solution that will work (artic cooling won't cause there isn't adjoing slot I can use for it)? :-( I maybeI just need to cut a whole in the side of my case?

can you give us a picture of the card and the card installed in the case?

you can get the mesh sided case or cut a whole directly above the fan on the card. there aer no sufficient cooling solutions that I found for a shuttle. of course, I had mine about a year ago, so there may be more now. I used a blowhole directly above the card heatsink and it did help.

I'd cut a hole in the side of the case right above the fan on the card. That would improve things considerably.

should be easy to fashion a short duct as well. PVC pipe or something like that. not sure how much it would help, but it would be fun.
