Currently it's setup like this (orienting the thermalright down did not help), should I get one of these?

or any expansion based fans to cool down the NB?

The NB idles @ 61c

that slot cooler won't do much of anything for your NB, try zip tying a small 40mm or 60mm fan to the NB that would prolly cool it 10degrees. really it will, and aside from getting a while new block, you can try to take off the NB and clean it up a bit and put on some AS5(or something better) properly than what they do at the factory.

I am guessing you are asking this for the UD4P? If the temp really bothers you that much you can see is that blue cover thing comes off...Not sure if it does or not, and then add a small fan to it, I don't know what you would have room for, but you should be able to fit at least a 40mm fan like this, you could also remove the heatpipe cooling and replace the TIM with something of high quality, most use pretty cheap stuff or thermal pads, I dropped almost 8C off mine by doing that.

I have a TJ10. Reverse your top 2 exhaust fans to intake. Get a 120mm fan or 140mm and rig it the way i have in pics below. And watch the temps drop. Hope this helps :)
