How do I clean inkpen mark from LCD screen?

My son wrote on my LCD panel a couple days ago and I was wondering how I would go about cleaning it off without damaging the screen's surface. Thanks.
 
First and for most OUCH thats got to hurt inside

Secondly, what pen did he use, berol, fountain, permentant?

Answer try a strong alcoholic wipe taht comes with a try wipe also, i would recommend one but i don't have any big names in mind

Cheap 10pack type BIC ball point. I'll try your suggestion, thanks. This is just my first LCD and I didn't want to hurt it.

And I think it hurt him more than it did me. :D j/k I didn't catch him doing it and my wife isn't much for discipline so he got away with it.
 
hehe, ye a soft alcoholic wipe should do it however with past expirence with egttign rid of these type of stains i'd recommend cover a small area first adn apply some pressure to get it off and go in a circlular motion. It will be tough to remove but willl come off

EDIT: Make sure there anti static, few can't believe i forgot that :eek:
 
Monster ScreenClean for about $20 cleans LCDs really nicely without any streaks or other problems. It's specially made for the LCD surfaces.

I'm not sure if it will remove the pen marks.
