Total at Newegg including shipping = 531.94
Total at Frys = 573.64
I figure the extra $43 dollars is worth "overnight shipping" hehe. My wife is all for making a trip to Dallas anyhow as she has family that lives there.
My pops already ordered me a 500GB WD Black HDD from the egg so i'm going to be using my old Hitachi 160GB 8mb HDD until it arrives.
Here's to hoping that i'll be able unlock the 2 disabled cores on the 550 and maybe get a little overclock out of the deal. My only concern is that i'm going to be using my old Coolermaster Centurion and ZALMAN CNPS7700-CU 120mm 2 Ball Cooling Fan...I just hope they will be "cool" enough to overclock. I'm even considering using the stock heatsink that came with my old X2 4200 or the the stock heatsink that comes with the 550. I guess i'll just have to wait and see what it looks like.
I'm pumped none the less. I've been waiting oh so long to upgrade!!!
Anyhow you guys let me know what you think!!!
