how come some computer cases dont have a reset button?

You can just hold the power button down for 3 seconds and your pc will shut down, just press it again to power on...same difference, less buttons.

If holding down a power button for 3 seconds takes to long and is too strenuous, time to find a new hobby
 
In those 3-4 seconds I could have jump off of my office's rooftop, saved a human life and then back to my office at The Daily Planet.
