Ok if you look at my signature on the bottom of my post it shows that i have a an msi k7n2delta-l nvidia nforce ultra 400/400fsb version:)

I dont see anyone of you guys have it....

Its either the abit nf7s or the asus deluxe one...

and this is for the amd processors...

i think after an 3 hours it goes up to about 43-47 celcius...

and just a reminder...

when i have 1833 mhz it runs a little bit cooler... say maybe 41 celcius when i`m running programs.. so .... i dunno know.. maybe my heatsink isnt that bad at all?

LMFAO my rigs better then that im sorry but if u not able to run stable at 200fsb u need to look at a dif board or something

im using an ECS: L7S7A2 (sis746) and 1700+(133x11)@2600+(200x10.5) temps never go over 53 even after 6+ hrs of toast,prime95,superPI running concurently

msi has crappy rep with overclockers least all the ones i know

u want a cheap yet better mobo try the l7s7a2 ya can get it for pretty cheap nomatter where u live(us or other)

i also have an fic au13 thats brand new never use it it oc's ok but just isnt as SMOOTH as the sis chipset :)

well... I really don't see a need to, well, bash him like that because you think your system is better but yea, 200Mhz FSB is at least what you should be at, so I'd say thats why no one has your mothermoard.

BTW I might add that I've seen a whole like 3 people on here that use my mobo, which is a fantastic one I might add, the only thing that seems to turn people off is the SiS chipset. So the reason no one has your mobo (here) is because it doesnt seem to have very good OCing.

LMFAO my rigs better that that but i'm sorry your system sucks cuz mine is running 3.6 and you only have a 1700+ OMFG!!

geesh man, who cares if he can't reach 200 fsb. Don't come and bash someone newb... when you have more then 4 posts and some respect in the forums you might be able to push your weight a bit.

Now to answer your question Eshelman. Most people here are overclockers so they look for the highest performer and most stable. Abit and Asus are the most popular with the enthusiests which is why you don't see many MSI, FIC, etc boards around here.

If you're not into big time overclocking then don't worry about it.

did i say i cant get to 400 fsb? NO i never said i couldnt... and actually i can... but i need a better cooling fan....

I've got a Delta-L, I went with the MSI because i didn't need all the extra stuff like 1394, S-ATA & Soundstorm. I've used MSI before (K7T Turbo2) and liked what i saw, so once again I went MSI

Actually, you missed one motherboard. The current AMD oc'ing champion is by FAR the DFI Ultra Infinity. The NF7-S[I have one] and A7N8X are both very popular but neither can overclock as well as the DFI board. Also, with my Abit, I can hit 200MHzx11 on my Barton 2500+ on the stock heatsink without breaking a sweat [38idle, 44load,case@31].

Ass. He didn't ask for a reply like that. I also wouldn't say your system is faster, he has more cache. You are barely clocked over him.

Well, because Abit makes the best boards available, regardless of proc platform. They ALWAYS scores the best against the competition.
