My old thread was deleted. Here is the best I can come to it.

How homogeneous do the harddrives have to be be in an array.

I have 4x WD 1b GP drives

3x
WD10EACS-22D6B0(16 sept 2008)
1x
WD10EACS-00D6B0(25 may 2008)

Will I be okay?

Sorry to anyone that was offended by my previous title

Thats fine. You can have drives of varying versions and date of production number in an array.

drive arrays will always just go with the smallest size i heard. and will try to sync in speed. so any will work just the slowest might be the bottleneck
