How can I overclock my Core 2 Duo E6750?

Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 (2.66 GHz)
4 GB Corsair XMS2 TwinX DDR2 PC2-6400
EVGA GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 (896 MB)
Microsoft Windows 7 (x64)

I am hoping to overclock the processor to 3 GHz, which I heard is possible. How would I go about safely doing this? Any tips?

Go into bios set you ram to 667 speed. Adjust timings if necessary. Go to ths fsb adjustment, set to 400.

I did as you said (http://yfrog.com/10eboccpu1j) and the POST (which now displayed 3.2 GHz/400x8) got as far as the second screen (pre-Windows loading) and the computer restarted itself and re-set itself back to 2.66 GHz/333x8). Any ideas?
