i have access to refrigerants, ie r12, r22, r134a, etc...

and i am a hvac installer, how could i use my tools and knowledge to cool my system, without having to have a condensing unit in my bedroom?

is the best cooling method the water cooling method? or is there a good air-to-air system that i can go with?

You could have the condensing unit outside your bedroom, and run the suction line/capillary tube through the wall, like a regular a/c system.

You can get a water cooled condensor. Cuz i assume your trying to cut down on noise from a big condensor fan. The heat will not be an issue, especially if you use a small compressor w/ 1000btu or less, that's plenty of heat load for a CPU. In fact the water channels on the Packless Model i have would prob be just right for 1/2" tubing, just attach a water cooling radiator (a large heatercore prob best) and a pump and just circulate the water through it.

If you worried about the heat generation, i guess you gotta go outside w/ it.

I have one for use on a cascade.

Packless Industries makes them here.

I use the 1/2 ton model. Which i got from a local HVAC supply Co.

Packless Industries Part # COAX-2050-H
