How are these temps

I just put the S1 on my 4850 and was wondering how these temps were? I'm not exactly sure if its good bad or just ok. And this is with no fan, its completely passive..

id guess thats idle temps whichs seem average

load it up and see, i cant do my 4870's on passiv they just progressively get warmer up to 75 deg or so

those are good idle temps for passive cooling, I have my stock fan set to 50% and it idles at 47,

@ zod96 "For PASSIVE fan your doing great".

NOTE:
If you do anything at all to a stock 4850/4870 including using aftermarket coolers with Fan/NoFan i recomend using MX-2 on GPU

..My experiance has been great doing so with all Nvidia/ATi factory cards..

Paste of Choice went from AS5 and to MX-2 and has been MX-2 hands down ever since i made the change over stock paste and or AS5..

Example :

3870x2 Oced to the Max in AMDtool with stock cooler and MX-2 on GPU's only.


Factory Heatsink/MX-2 and Fan 100% and Benched!
