Am building a new computer and would like some reccomendations on the choices below. I would be using it mainly for SC2 and would like to be able to run at Ultra settings at a relatively high FPS. Budget is 800 dollars and below.

I am going with a AMD x3 processor. Any reccomendations on the motherboard? Would prefer Asus brand.

ocz 2x2 gb ddr3 1600 ram

gtx 460 768 mb vid card

OCZ 600 W Power Supply (Reccomend others if possible).

Any help or reccomendations would be great.

Thanks!

Too many ambiguities there.

First, what is the resolution of the monitor that you're going to be using? A 768MB GTX 460 is cutting it very, very close for 1920x1080.

Second, OCZ's DDR3 memory has not been as reliable as many other brands of DDR3 memory, in my experience.

Third, that OCZ PSU. OCZ offers a few "600W" PSUs - none of which are very good. In fact, they are all worse (poorer) in quality than comparable-wattage PSUs currently available from Antec, Corsair or XFX. In fact, OCZ currently gets all of its PSUs from Sirfa and FSP - neither of which is renowned for quality these days.

Thanks for the tips. My monitor will be running at 1080p (1920x1080) when I'm surfing the web or watching a movie, but for games the resolution will be much much lower in tiers.
