My config is in my Sig. as of now i cannot OC because if i try my 12v Rail drops below 11.5v. My memory died i think because it wasn't feed enough power or it wasn't clean power. the PSU in question was a 480 Watt Thermaltake PSU (live and learn). I never really bought good PSU's i know i know I R TEH N00B. anyway, i now want to get a PSU that is future proof and is reliable.I will most likely change motherboards (possibly DFI ultra-D?) if this PSu doesn't keep my OC's stable, i tried this CPU on a DFI and it OC'd like a champ... Also i want a Quiet PSU, My picks at the moment are:

OCZ PowerStream ATX 2.01/EPS SLi w/Adjustable Power Rails & LED 600W PS

SeaSonic S12-600 ATX12V 600W

ENERMAX Noisetaker II EG701AX VE(W) SFMA ATX12V Ver 2.2 600W Power Supply

Hiper Type-R 580 Watt

Seasonic 600w is def the quiet and is a great psu and ya the OCZ is great too but it depends if u want modular or not... id go with the Enermax Liberty 600w

i've read that the seasonics are not very compatablwe with the DFI Mobo's, is this true?
If so i wouldn't want it. Also, i read the modular PSU's aren't as stable on the Rails as the straight wired versions. Again any comment? As for the Enermax i read there were LOTS of DOA's with them....

Yeah, the seasonics SUCK with DFI boards. My first S12-600 killed my DFI board, and now the replacement won't power up the board (VERY common problem).

I LOVE how quiet it is, when it works.

Seems you have been across a couple of threads. The problem with DFI boards and Seasonic PSU's was isolated a while ago to the +5vsb draw of the DFI board being out of spec. Seasonic revised their PSU. If you have an issue with it look to DFI and their design choices....sepc's exist for a reason...if DFI chooses to ignore them it is their fault when something doesn't work.

I just popped an Enermax PSU like that one last night. Don't know if I'd go with that.

Since it seems you're in the market for a HIGH end psu, why not just get a PCP&C 510? It'll kill all those supplies, and is only a small amount more. It's not the quietest psu (far from it), but if you can live with a bit of noise, you'll learn to love the stability and reliability of the turbo-cool.

I was considering the PP&C, problem is my puter is loud as is. I am going for a silent setup. Lian li case and i want a quiet PSU. the PP&C from what i read is liek a 747 taking off. i am sick of going to bed and havign my ears ringing from the constant droning i was hearing all night from my puter.. i spend roughly 5-8 hours a day at my puter so, the quieter the better.
just in case your wodnering this is the case i am getting: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811112102

So i am down to the OCZ or Enermax. IS OCZ's customer service really that good with minnimal down time if it dies?

very minimal, 3 days, they overnighted me a new psu when mine died, and upgraded me
