How are Just PC PSUs?

I would never go by the reviews that Newegg has on their site. Just PC's are listed in the thread of:

http://www.hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=974240
They are one of the powersupplies to avoid, I wouldn't want to even put one of these units into a computer. I lost half of my own computer once due to an clone of Just PC's catch fire.

They look like Alllied Powersupplies just rebadged as Just PC.

I wouldn't know what to recommend, I haven't bought a powersupply in over a year and don't upgrade my computer every year.

But my greatest purchase on a powersupply was an Enermax Liberty 500w powersupply. It is modular, sleeved on all cables except the fan connector cable.

I looked at the powersupply sticky and looked at reviews from [H]ardOCP, then I bought the Enermax Liberty. Now I cannot tell you what to buy because I have been off the scene of computers in 2 years.

But my best advice is to look through this thread:

What do you recommend? I'd like sleeved modular cables, 600Ws, near silent, for under 90. :)
I guess I don't have to modular cables. As long as it's sleeved nicely and near silent! With my current build, the power cables are everywhere and it's very annoying. I just want something that can look nice and not intimidating when I open my case.

A good seasonic is where it's at. Some models can be had for under a bill. Very quiet; the choice of SPCR.

Pass on it. Newegg is frequently wrong, but the ripple isn't exactly promising. I'd look into a corsair HX first.

While that is a good power supply, it is no where near silent. It is meant for a server or workstation. The 80mm fan has no thermal throttling, it is on 100% all the time. This is from personal experience.

This is easily fixed by switching the fan.

Which easily voids your warranty. I'd rather buy something like the Corsair, have a 5 year warranty, and a nice, quiet 120mm fan from the start.
