How accurate is AMD's temperature control?

I just tried this on my 27GL850 and the results kinda suprised me. I don't have any instrument to measure how close i got to sRGB but at glance it actually doesn't seem bad at all. Seems like i don't have to use the sRGB emulation mode of my monitor (which locks me out of everything except brightness), unless i'm missing something?

Is there something similar for Nvidia as well?
 
Has anybody tested how accurate the AMD one is?

On the 27GL850 the calibration for the sRGB mode is CLEARLY not the same as in the other modes and i don't have any other mean of comparison for the AMD temperature control. Right now i just prefer it because i can at least change the contrast and other stuff but i'm curious.
