sounds nice, think so?

Not really. I'd rather have something like a PCP&C 750, or an antec truepower quattro 850.

It's a Tagan. It's very high quality and comes with everything under the sun and also looks incredible. It's pricey though, but if you can afford it it's worth it.

Any preview? Comments? yay or nay?

Well the only comment for now is not really directed at this product in particualr but in general just because a product comes from a well known company doesn't mean it will be great, good, or even accpetable as we have seen from a number of reviews so far.

I'm a little surprised after the ABS/Tagan ITZ1300 hubbub...

Well ABS/Newegg was great about the whole issue and the product carried their name as well and they wanted another chance with another product so we of course are going to give them a fair shot at it because they did act properly. At no time during the issue with those ITZ1300 units or afterward was ABS anything othe than helpful and professional, the only issues came from the Tagan reps themselves not ABS.

Just because it has a top fan and is blingy doesn't mean it's good.

What's wrong with it? 6 20a rails for a total of 64a combined, for one.

Case in point with bling and top fan: Asspire.

I bet my Silverstone Zeus is better than it while being a whole lot cheaper. Their quality and performance isnt that great.

This is probably a dumb question, but why do a lot of these new PSU's come with a man-purse carry bag? I don't really see a point in the fluffy accessories included with these things (like the bag, the Michael Jackson gloves and the screw driver). Is the bag for the extra cabling that could probably just as easily and more cheaply be thrown in a box, most likely never to be used again (or at least until the next rebuild) or to carry the actual PSU around with you? And if it is to carry the PSU around, who in the hell would ever do such a thing? Ok, rant off.

It does look snazzy though. It gets an A+ for *BLING*.
