I think that ALL moderators should be required to use their real names and list the real name of the city their snail mail arrives to them through. Just to name a couple (easy to find - NOT "picking on" anyone. NO tears from these two please.): MajorDomo from Tacky Tourist Capital??? Lethal from Lost Angeles??? Try to find either of those cities via an internet search! (I will concede that one is easy to guess.) Anyone not having the balls to post their full name and city of residence shouldn't be a moderator.
I believe a real (i.e. monitored) e-mail address should also be a requirement.
Allowing moderators to be anonymous is akin to allowing Hitler's hoodlums to go free because they were just following orders.
I personally would prefer if it were law that everyone be required to use their real name on the internet. Where problems arise, zip codes, area codes, etc. code be tacked on to further distinguish one from the other.
