I got a quick question for you all' I had a friend call to tell me about how Microsoft is getting him to do this 2-step verification code. And from what I gathered he doesn't have much of a choice but to do it. He asked around and what he found is that he was the only one in his group that this is happening to.
From what I see/know Microsoft is switching over/have switched over to Outlook, and I forget weather I had to do this. Is this a standard process that Outlook is doing for all it's users or is it some kind of malware or hacker trying to get a hold of his account?
I shall add I found this which sort of sounded what he was talking about, with having a "date" to do this verification code
