Hot0-plug: How many insert/remove cycles?

My Corsair 800D case has four hot-plug drive bays which I have just started to use. I'm wondering how many insert/remove cycles I can do safely.

The 800D has a hot-plug backplane. The drives plug directly into that backplane. I tried to find some statistics or standards for this question but I could not get anything. A question posted to the Corsair forum got no useful replies.

I'm hoping that people in this forum would know. If it matters, my drives are all consumer-grade Seagate 320 GB (I forget the generation) and various generations of Hitachi 1, 2, and 4 TB Deskstar, plus one Corsair SSD.

I vaguely remember having read somewhere that SATA connectors (the internal type, not eSATA) are rated for 50 insert/remove cycles.
To be sure you have to look into the SATA spec, it may be different for the plugs and for the receptables.
That does not mean that they cannot endure even a thousand cycles, just what they have to endure to comply with the spec.

Well, this is common to high-data rate connectors that are incredibly cheap like SATA.

For example, I think the LGA sockets for Intel processors are only rated at 5 cycles, while the processors are rated at 50 cycles.
