I know it's a nice drive and all, but... that seems a bit steep in price to me. Could almost buy a 2TB 5400 rpm drive and a 60GB SSD for the cost of that one single drive. ;)

And the fact that it's on eBay, hrmmm... and yes I checked Newegg, same drive at $169.99 new, $139.99 refurb so, I suppose it's in the ballpark but it just seems high to me given the state of other drive prices.

These hd's lacking TLER kill it for me until they come down in price to other 2tb HD's that function perfectly in raid, like the ultra reliable Samsung F4 2tb HD's that you can get for 1/2 the price.

WD you naughty naughty bad little company, stripping full raid support on HD's just so you can charge a premium for Raid Edition hard drives. Shame on you.

i am not going by the price of other drives. just this one. If you are looking for these drive, then this is a hot deal. if not, moving on is your best bet

Not sure why these drives are so steeply priced. I would rather R0 2 Samsung F3 1TB.
