Using realtemp with case open:
Stock Heatsink and fan

Idle
CPU - 25
0 - 38
1 - 38
2 - 35
3 - 37

Prime95 after about 10second
CPU - 80
0 - 89
1 - 89
2 - 89
3 - 88

I came to the conclusion that the stock heatsink and thermalpaste is crap, and got a Thermaltake Q Spin. Got that installed and set the fan to high. Used 91% alcohol to clean the CPU.

Min: Max:
0 - 32 89
1 - 31 88
2 - 32 89
3 - 31 87

Read some mixed reviews on that heatsink.
Another discussion board someone mentioned that the temp sensors may be wrong/bad?

Just got a Thermaltight IFX-14 with 2x 120mm fans and will see how that goes tonight.

The IFX-14 should take care of your problem if you mount it correctly. What is your ambient temperature?

Had this problem a while back.
Turned out my heat sink wasn't seated properly. It was twisted about 5 degrees which caused one corner to be lifted off the processor.
I felt like a dumbass when I noticed, but it was all good in a couple minutes.

IFX is AMAZING!!!!

Ran the 10min Prime95 with Realtemp last night (4am) and the numbers max was like 36degrees.

I get internet tomorrow ill post a screen shot then.
