I'm running this single-threaded job this morning, loading data into a database. The import routine is apparently single-threaded, and I'd guess the Windows scheduler is trying to keep it on the best two cores.

It's odd that it's able to segment a single thread. I didn't think Windows did that as a default behavior.

The process itself may be single-threaded; that's been a longstanding complaint with this product.
