Sometimes I run my laptop without a battery and with it plugged into A/C only because I'm usually near an A/C outlet and don't expect to move around much. Every once in a while though, I need to move and think about just hot plugging in the battery and disconnecting the A/C power. Does anyone know if this would harm the laptop in anyway? Also, would the reverse, hot removing the battery, result in anything bad? I know some laptops have an extra battery bay which supports hot plugging/unplugging of batteries, but this one only has one battery bay.
