It depends. If you are playing a game that requires 64Kbyte of ram, the LL version will perform better. If you game requires 1.8 GB of ram, this will perform better.

If you are using photoshop on really small images, the 1GB LL will perform better, if you are editing larger images with memory requiresments of >1 GB, this will perform better.

If you are editing small videos that do not require swapping in a 1 GB system, the 1 GB LL will likely perform better, if you are editing bigger videos that require more than 1 GB of ram, this will perform better.

... repeat ad infinitum.

Why don't you analyse your need first and then we can answer your question.

ps.: I don't think this is a hot deal at all, but that is just me.
 
I don't think this is a Hot Deal, try the MEMORY section of these forums, you'll have better luck.
 
How about posting a few of these better deals. I have been looking through the forums and havent see anything that very much hotter.
