hot deal?

I'd say it's hot. But, I am not to sure of the quality. I think they did a review on the front page of it.

NVM: 800w and 1000w review.

There's more then likely a good reason why they're selling it for so cheap.
But maybe it is good. If you are willing to take the chance, then go for it.

I wouldn't though. I would pay for proven quality Nothing against BFG though..

say Q6700 and 8800GTX. maybe 2 8800GTX if I upgrade.

or would the 800w be a better buy? I don't need bells and whistles just a good solid PSU

Ok, just bought the 800watt. For the extra 50 bucks AR I think this is some pretty good future proofing

thanks again for the help.

It really comes down to what video cards do you see in your future ?
And are you usually accurate ?
If you see big video cards then go big...:D

I did, current (as soon as I get the new PSU) is a 8800GTX. this way I can SLI or just take the PSU to my next computer (sorry to say but I think its not going to be an AMD this time)

I am thinking about

Q6700
EVGA 750i board (price/performance it looks hard to beat)
my current 8800GTX, maybe a seconded one down the road

its a shame really the MSI 790FX board is damn nice, the 4800 series look nice, and their CPUs just can't make. I wish they made an Intel version of that board
